It’s time for another Tweet Up. Join us at the Tuscon Flats restaurant in downtown Belleville this thursday at 6pm for great conversation and networking with other local twitter users.
This event is for those who are already tweeting, and for those who are interested in social media, and the who’s who of the #bville social media scene. It’s a great chance to network, have fun, and meet some new tweeps.
The event is simply a mix and mingle, and dress is business casual, so no need to stress about what to wear. We just want everyone to come out and have a good time. Feel free to bring friends.

Hello All;
As the headline reads, #bvillecafe (for July 8th) has currently been put on hold until late August. Sorry for an inconvenience that this may have cause. We will be sure to update you as to any new information as it comes along.
In the meantime we would love to hear from you. Drop us a line and let us know your plans for the summer.

Hello All;
As previously mentioned there have been talks around the water-cooler of a more casual and spontaneous gathering. Something relaxed, comfortable, and over coffee…thus we bring you #bvillecafe.
The first #bvillecafe will take place Thursday, July 8th from 5 pm to 8 pm at Starbucks, located at the Quinte Mall. Our hosts will graciously provide a “sample blitz” and dome some take home coffee ~ all set up just for our guests. Make sure you remember to get your name tag upon arrival as this will show that you are indeed a #bvillecafe guest!
As mentioned, #bvillecafe is casual, laid-back, and a chance to meet in a relaxed setting to catch up with many of our #bvilletweets friends. So come as you are, kick up your feet, and we’ll be sure to see you there.

Inquiring minds want to know: What do you want from #bvilletweets?
Are you looking for just a casual time to hang out with old, new, and soon-to-be friends? Or would you like to see themes, games, variety? Drop us a line and let us know.
#bvilletweets is about our twitter community; about coming together and having a great time, meeting new people, and discussing new ideas. As a community we should all take part in deciding what comes next. So let us know what you envision for the future of #bvilletweets.

There has been some discussion around our water cooler lately to start another type of Tweet Up; one that caters to the more relaxed and spontaneous.
Welcome to #bvillecafe.
#bvillecafe is exactly what the name suggests – a gathering of local Tweeters wanting to meet and hang out over coffee. This requires little planning, and would take place at one of the local participating cafe’s. All announcements would start one week prior and would remain very casual and laid back. Perfect for those that are unable to make it to the main event.

It is that time of the month again – Tweet Up Time! This month Gallery ArtPlus and ReVue Design are heading it up and we wish them the best of luck. So mark your calendars – it is sure to be a great time!

If you’re on twitter, curious about it or just looking to get out and have a great time, then this is the place to be. This is a great way to meet your local tweeters, while being surrounded by beautiful local and national pieces of fine art.
Now, if you’re wondering about what to wear to an art gallery tweet up, business casual dress code is just fine! There will also be free apps (the food kind) and a cash bar. $4 beer & wine!

Belleville tweetup a success

Hello all,
it looks like #bvilletweets 3 was a huge success! Thanks first and foremost to The Boathouse for hosting us again -your service was friendly and prompt, and you handled our haphazard (and at times disorganized) crowd with tact and professionalism. We owe how smoothly it went to having such a wonderful and attentive venue.
Thanks to @brynajones, @marinaapperley, and @sandynadine for doing most of the planning, and @innovati for making this website and getting the social-media presence of #bvilletweets up and running. Thanks to @stratosphear and the folks at The Intelligencer for helping promote the event.
As we look forward to the next tweetup we have two tasks on our plate: to collect the photos and best moments from #bvilletweets 3, and to find a venue and date for #bvilletweets 4 which will be happening in approximately one month.
This website will become the central source for all planning and news related to these tweetups, so do check back often and stay informed.
To all who attended: thank you for making this #bvilletweets the success it was, it was a pleasure connecting with as many of you as was able, and the only way to continue these relationships is to meet up again – until then keep on tweeting and we’ll be listening.

lets try something fun & collaborative. What if we all bring our cameras to #bvilletweets and then upload the pictures to our flickr pool.
We’ll find some fun ways to use these pictures, but until then make sure that you tag all of the photos from this tweetup as #bvilletweets3 so the next time around they won’t get mixed in with other events!
